Before The Future is a solo exhibition by Lulu Song that examines issues of statelessness, identity, memory, and belonging through embroidery, thread-based practices, and fragmented visual narratives. Drawing from the lived experiences and overlooked histories of stateless communities, the exhibition reflects on the conditions of social invisibility and uncertain futures.
Artist Biography
Lulu Song (b. 1997, China) is an artist whose practice explores migration, identity, and cultural memory through textile-based and mixed-media works. She received a BA in Advertising Science from Southwest Jiaotong University (2016–2020) and is currently completing an MFA in Visual Arts at Chiang Mai University (2024–2026).
